Rio Branco Sport Club, more commonly referred to as Rio Branco do Paraná or simply Rio Branco, is a Brazilian professional association football club in Paranaguá, Paraná which currently plays in Campeonato Paranaense, the top division of the Paraná state football league. History On October 13, 1913, Rio Branco Sport Club was founded by Anibal José de Lima, Raul da Costa Pinto, Euclides de Oliveira, Manoel Victor da Costa, Antônio Gomes de Miranda, José de Oliveira, Antônio Ferrer da Rosa and Jarbas Nery Chichorro. Caramuru (-1557) was the Tupi name of the Portuguese colonist Diogo Álvares Correia, who is notable for being the first European to establish contact with the native Tupinambá population in modern-day Brazil and was instrumental in the early colonization of Brazil by the Portuguese crown.. Notably, Caramuru's native-born wife, Catarina Paraguaçu, was the first South American native to be received at the Palace of Versailles in 1526. Cianorte is a municipality in the state of Paraná in Brazil, with an estimated population of 83,816, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics in 2020. History The city was planned as a " garden city" and founded by the Company for the Improvement of the North of Paraná (Companhia Melhoramentos Norte do Paraná), a British company for which it was named. Clube Atlético Ferroviário, commonly known as Ferroviário, were a Brazilian football team from Curitiba, Paraná state. They won the Campeonato Paranaense eight times. History Clube Atlético Ferroviário were founded on January 12, 1930. They won the Campeonato Paranaense in 1937, 1938, 1944, 1948, 1950, 1953, 1965, and in 1966.
