''Clytiomya continua'' is a European species of fly in the family Tachinidae. Hosts for the parasitoid larvae include ''Coreus marginatus orientalis'', '' Eurygaster testudinaria'', ''Eurydema gebleri'', ''Eurydema dominulus'', ''Graphosoma rubrolineatum'', '' Homalogonia confusa'', and ''Dolycoris baccarum''. Georg Wolfgang Franz Panzer (31 May 1755 – 28 June 1829) was a German botanist and entomologist. He was born at Etzelwang in the Upper Palatinate and died at Hersbruck, near Nuremberg. He was the son of (the elder, 1729-1805), one of the most distinguished and productive of German bibliographers, whose ''Annales Typographici'' were published between 1793 and 1803.G.W.
