Club San Cirano
Club San Cirano is an Argentine rugby union and field hockey club located in the Villa Celina district of La Matanza Partido. The rugby team currently plays in Primera División A, the second division of the URBA league system. History In 1971, the "Asociación de Ex alumnos del Colegio San Cirano" was created as a social club by former pupils of San Cirano College in Buenos Aires, being named Brian Healy as its first president. Two years later, the association became a sports club and changed its name to ''Club San Cirano'' which remains nowadays. The main sport played at the club has always been rugby union, registering San Cirano with the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires in July 1973. La Matanza Partido
La Matanza ('The Slaughter' in Spanish) is a '' partido'' (county or department) located in the urban agglomeration of Greater Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. This provincial subdivision had 1,775,272 inhabitants (at the 2010 Census) in an area of . Its capital city is San Justo, which is located around from the City of Buenos Aires. Field Hockey
Field hockey is a team sport structured in standard hockey format, in which each team plays with ten outfield players and a goalkeeper. Teams must drive a round hockey ball by hitting it with a hockey stick towards the rival team's shooting circle and then into the goal. The match is won by the team that scores the most goals. Matches are played on grass, watered turf, artificial turf, synthetic field, or indoor boarded surface. The stick is made of wood, carbon fibre, fibreglass, or a combination of carbon fibre and fibreglass in different quantities. The stick has two sides; one rounded and one flat; only the flat face of the stick is allowed to progress the ball. The Torneo Nacional de Clubes is a club rugby union competition in Argentina, organised by the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR). The Nacional de Clubes is the main club competition in Argentine rugby, being contested by a total of 16 teams, 8 from Buenos Aires and 8 from the rest of the provinces of Argentina. There is also a second division, "Nacional de Clubes B", with a similar format. History From 1993 to 2008, the competition involved 16 clubs, which were divided into four zones. Club San Luis
Club San Luis is an Argentine rugby union and field hockey club from the city of Tolosa in La Plata Partido, Buenos Aires Province. The rugby team currently plays in the Top 12, the first division of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires league system. Likewise, the hockey team competes at the tournaments organised by the Buenos Aires Hockey Association (AHBA). San Luis' main rival is fellow ''platense'' club La Plata.
