Cloud Nothings
Cloud Nothings is an American indie rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, United States, founded by singer-songwriter Dylan Baldi. It currently consists of lead singer and guitarist Dylan Baldi, drummer Jayson Gerycz, bassist Noah Depew, and guitarist Chris Brown. Beginning in 2009, the band originally started as a solo project, with Baldi recording both vocals and instrumentals in his parents' basement, although he performed live with a full band. The band is signed to Washington, D.C.-based Carpark Records. Their breakthrough album, '' Attack on Memory'', was released on Carpark in 2012. Their next LP, '' Here and Nowhere Else'', was released on April 1, 2014. Cloud Nothings' album '' Life Without Sound'' was released on January 27, 2017. ''The Shadow I Remember'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Cloud Nothings. It was released on February 26, 2021 via Carpark Records. Background The album was recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago, Illinois, with record producer Steve Albini. Release On October 13, 2020, Cloud Nothings announced the release of the new album, which they had written while in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. Singles The first single to be released from the album, "Am I Something," was announced on the same day as the album details. On November 17, 2020, "The Spirit Of" was announced as the second single. The band released the third single, "Nothing Without You," on February 3, 2021. Real Estate is an American indie rock band from Ridgewood, New Jersey, United States, formed in 2008. Woods is an American folk rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2005. The band consists of Jeremy Earl (vocals, guitar), Jarvis Taveniere (various instruments, production), Aaron Neveu (drums), Chuck Van Dyck (bass), and Kyle Forester (keyboards, sax). Todd Patrick (aka Todd P) is an organizer of independently produced concerts, based in New York City. Patrick was born in 1975 in Indiana, and grew up in Richardson, Texas. Patrick is known within the independent music community for selecting and attracting emerging acts to his concerts, as well as for championing all ages access to live music and affordable ticket prices, and for encouraging the use of alternative spaces as venues. ''Columbus Alive'' (also presented as ''ALIVE''), was a free online news site serving Columbus, Ohio. The site focused on local music, art, dining, film and culture. Formerly distributed in print form each week on Thursdays, the final print version of the alternative-weekly newspaper was published on July 3, 2019. The publication was acquired by ''The Columbus Dispatch'' in the first half of 2006 and the circulation at that time was approximately 55,000. In 2015, the ''Dispatch'' was acquired by New Media Investment Group, which later became Gannett.
