Clea Rosemary Smith (born 6 January 1979) is an Australian former cricket player. She played in the Australian national cricket team in all three formats: Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I). Cricket career Smith played 165 domestic limited overs matches for the Victorian Spirit including 117 Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) games. In cricket, the batting order is the sequence in which batters play through their team's innings, there always being two batters taking part at any one time. All eleven players in a team are required to bat if the innings is completed (i.e., if the innings does not close early due to a declaration or other factor). Hat-trick (cricket)
In cricket, a hat-trick occurs when a bowler takes three wickets with consecutive deliveries. The deliveries may be interrupted by an over bowled by another bowler from the other end of the pitch or the other team's innings, but must be three consecutive deliveries by the individual bowler in the same match. Only wickets attributed to the bowler count towards a hat-trick; run outs do not count, although they can contribute towards a so-called team hat-trick, which is ostensibly a normal hat-trick except that the three successive deliveries can be wickets from any bowler in the team and with any mode of dismissal. Hat-tricks are rare, and as such are treasured by bowlers. The term is also sometimes used to mean winning the same competition three times in a row. Women's Twenty20 is the use of the Twenty20 match format in women's cricket. In a Twenty20 match, the two teams bat for a single innings each, of a maximum of 20 overs. The wider rules and playing conditions are usually the same for both the men's format and the women's format, with some small variations.
