Clayton Friend
Clayton Ivan Friend (born 1964) is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played at representative level for New Zealand, and at club level for Carlisle (two spells), North Sydney Bears and Whitehaven, as a , i.e. number 7. Playing career A Manukau junior and Auckland representative, Friend played for Carlisle in 1982 and then enjoyed a long spell with North Sydney.
