Claudia Llosa
Claudia Llosa Bueno (born 15 November 1976) is a Peruvian film director, writer, producer, and author. She is recognized for her Academy-Award-nominated film ''The Milk of Sorrow''. Early life Claudia Llosa was born on November 15, 1976 in Lima, Peru. Her mother Patricia Bueno Risso is an artist from Italy and her father Alejandro Llosa Garcia worked in the engineering field. Her siblings are Patricia Llosa and Andrea Llosa. She is the niece of the Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa and the film director Luis Llosa. She studied at Newton Collegein Lima. Her post-secondary studies were spent majoring in Film Direction at the University of Lima. Llosa moved from Peru to Madrid in the late 1990ies. FILMFEST HAMBURG is an international film festival in Hamburg, the third-largest of its kind in Germany (after Berlin and Munich). ''Aloft'' ( es, link=no, No Llores Vuela) is a 2014 internationally co-produced drama film written and directed by Claudia Llosa and starring Jennifer Connelly, Cillian Murphy, and Mélanie Laurent. The film premiered in competition at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival. Plot Nana Kunning, a struggling mother of two young sons, takes her children to an isolated location. She, along with other parents and children, have come there in order to be seen by the Architect, a faith healer who builds small delicate structures out of branches and then brings patients inside them. Teddy Award
The Teddy Award is an international film award for films with LGBT topics, presented by an independent jury as an official award of the Berlin International Film Festival (the Berlinale). In the most part, the jury consists of organisers of gay and lesbian film festivals, who view films screened in all sections of the Berlinale; films do not have to have been part of the festival's official competition stream to be eligible for Teddy awards. Subsequently, a list of films meeting criteria for LGBT content is selected by the jury, and a 3,000-Euro Teddy is awarded to a feature film, a short film and a documentary. The Berlin International Film Festival (german: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin), usually called the Berlinale (), is a major international film festival held annually in Berlin, Germany. Juan José Campanella
Juan José Campanella (born 19 July 1959) is an Argentine television and film director, writer and producer. He achieved worldwide attention with the release of ''The Secret in Their Eyes'' (2009), for which he was awarded the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Early life Campanella was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started studying engineering, but dropped out in 1980 after four years at university.
