Claudia Kristofics-Binder
Claudia Kristofics-Binder (born 5 October 1961) is an Austrian former figure skater. She is a two-time World bronze medalist (1981, 1982) and the 1982 European champion. She represented Austria at the 1976 and 1980 Winter Olympics. She was coached by Carlo Fassi. Skate Canada International
The Skate Canada International is an international, senior-level invitation-only figure skating competition organized by Skate Canada. It is the second competition of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating season. The location changes yearly. Medals are awarded in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The first Skate Canada International was held in 1973. The 1987 competition in Calgary was the test event for the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. It was added to the Grand Prix series in 1995, the year the series began. It has had different title sponsors over the years. On August 30, 2006, Skate Canada announced it would be officially titled ''HomeSense Skate Canada International'' until 2010. Annemarie Moser-Pröll (born 27 March 1953) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from Austria. Born in Kleinarl, Salzburg, she was the most successful female alpine ski racer during the 1970s, with six overall titles, including five consecutive. Moser-Pröll celebrated her biggest successes in downhill, giant slalom and combined races. In 1980, her last year as a competitor, she secured her third Olympic medal (and first gold) at Lake Placid and won five World Cup races. Her younger sister Cornelia Pröll is also a former Olympic alpine skier. Career During her career, Moser-Pröll won the overall World Cup title a record six times, including five consecutive (1971–75).
