Clark Weber
Clark Weber was an Americans, American radio personality in Chicago, Chicago, Illinois. He also ran his own radio advertising consultancy, Clark Weber Associates. In July 2008 he published a book, ''Clark Weber's Rock and Roll Radio: The Fun Years, 1955-1975''. It is published by Chicago's Books Press (; ). Clark Weber, who always referred to himself as "Mother Weber's Oldest Son", began his start in radio as an amateur (ham) radio operator in 1950 in radio, 1950. After leaving the Navy in 1954 in radio, 1954, Weber's first radio job was at WGKB, WAUX in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He also worked at WIBD, WBKV in West Bend, Wisconsin and WJOI, WRIT in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He moved to Chicago in 1961 where he joined the staff of WLS (AM), WLS, initially working as a graveyard shift DJ and climbing to program director. WAIT (850 kHz) was an AM radio station licensed to Crystal Lake, Illinois and serving the Chicago metropolitan area. It was licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as a Class D station and broadcast only during daytime hours, signing off at sunset to protect KOA in Denver, the clear-channel station on 850 kHz. The station had a highly directional pattern, with nulls to the northeast and southwest, to protect WGVS in Muskegon, Michigan, and KFUO in Clayton, Missouri. WYLL (1160 AM) is a commercial radio station in Chicago, Illinois. It is owned by Salem Media Group and airs a Christian talk and teaching radio format. The studios and offices are located in Elk Grove Village. Its daytime transmitter and two-tower array are located off Ballard Road near Interstate 294 in Des Plaines. The nighttime transmitter and six-tower array are off Deer Drive near Interstate 355 in Lockport. West Bend is the county seat of Washington County, Wisconsin, Washington County, Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 31,752.
