Clara Honsinger
Clara Honsinger (born June 5, 1997) is an American professional cyclist who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team in road racing, and Cannondale–Cyclocrossworld.com in cyclo-cross. Career Honsinger won the 2018 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championship in the under-23 category held in Louisville, Kentucky. On December 15, 2019, she won the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championship in the women's elite category. The race was held at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, Washington. She is the first new USA women's elite category Cyclocross National Champion in 15 years, following the annual victories of Katie Compton since 2004. For the 2021 road cycling season, Honsinger joined the team. She combined this with a cyclo-cross schedule, riding for the Cannondale–Cyclocrossworld.com team. 2019–20 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup
The 2019–20 Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup was a season long cyclo-cross competition, organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup took place between 14 September 2019 and 26 January 2020, over a total of nine events. The defending champions were Toon Aerts in the men's competition and Marianne Vos in the women's competition. Points distribution Points were awarded to all eligible riders at each race. The top ten finishers received points according to the following table: * Elite riders finishing in positions 11 to 50 also received points, going down from 40 points for 11th place by one point per place to 1 point for 50th place. * For the age group riders (excluding under-23 women), those finishing in positions 11 to 30 also received points, going down from 20 points for 11th place by one point per place to 1 point for 30th place. Exact Cross
The Exact Cross is a season-long cyclo-cross competition, formerly known as the Ethias Cross and the Brico Cross, consisting of 8 rounds throughout the season in Belgium and the Netherlands. It is one of six season-long competitions, alongside the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup, Cyclo-cross Superprestige, the X²O Badkamers Trophy (formerly known as the DVV Trophy, before that the BPost Bank Trophy and before that as the Gazet van Antwerpen trophy), the EKZ CrossTour and the Toi Toi Cup. In contrary to the other competitions, the Ethias Cross does not award points or compose an overall ranking, but rather consists of separate races. 2021–22 UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup
The 2021–22 Telenet UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup was a season-long cyclo-cross competition, organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup took place between 10 October 2021 and 23 January 2022. This season the number of races was expanded to 16, whereas in regular seasons most recently only about 9 were organized. The intention was to already expand to 14 races during the 2020–21 season, but as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the previous season was reduced to five races only. The defending champions were Wout van Aert in the men's competition and Lucinda Brand in the women's competition. Points distribution Points were awarded to all eligible riders at each race. From this season, the points awarded are according to the same scale for all categories, but only the top 25 riders receive points rather than the top 50. Koppenbergcross
The Cyclo-cross Koppenberg is a cyclo-cross race held in Oudenaarde, Belgium, which is part of the X²O Badkamers Trophy. The cyclo-cross race uses the Koppenberg climb that has been used many times in the Belgian Classic the Tour of Flanders. This is a very steep and cobbled climb that is part of the course of which the riders do eight laps.
