Clancy Grandy
Clancy Grandy (born December 27, 1990 in Burlington, Ontario) is a Canadian curler originally from Ontario. She currently skips her own team out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Career Juniors Grandy's junior career was highlighted by winning the 2011 Pepsi Ontario Junior Curling Championships with teammates Sarah Wilkes, Laura Crocker and Lynn Kreviazuk, defeating Jasmin Thurston in the final. The team represented Ontario at the 2011 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where the finished with a 5-7 record. Later that season, Grandy skipped the Guelph Gryphons University curling team at the 2011 CIS/CCA Curling Championships, finishing with a 2-5 record. Laura Crocker, her junior teammate won the event as the skip for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. Burlington, Ontario
Burlington is a city in the Regional Municipality of Halton at the northwestern end of Lake Ontario in Ontario, Canada. Along with Milton to the north, it forms the western end of the Greater Toronto Area and is also part of the Hamilton metropolitan census area. Sherry Middaugh
Sherry L. Middaugh (née Hamel, born October 11, 1966 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian curler from Victoria Harbour, Ontario. Before marrying world champion curler Wayne Middaugh, she was known as Sherry Scheirich. She is a five-time Ontario champion and a one-time Saskatchewan curling champion. She is currently the coach of Team Tracy Fleury. Career Middaugh, originally from Saskatchewan, won the 1986 Saskatchewan Junior Women's Championship. She represented Saskatchewan at the 1986 Canadian Junior Women's Curling Championship, where she tied for fourth with a 6–4 record. Her lone Saskatchewan Hearts victory came in 1996, when she defeated Sandra Peterson (Schmirler) in the provincial final, 8–5. 2015 Ontario Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2015 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held January 19 to 25 at the Penetanguishene Curling Club in Penetanguishene, Ontario. The winning Julie Hastings team represented Ontario at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The event marked the first tournament to exclude teams from Northern Ontario, which began to have its own entry into the Scotties, the 2015 Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Janet Murphy (born April 22, 1965) is a Canadian curler. She was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia but resides in Mississauga, Ontario. She is the director of curling at Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. Career From 2010–2014, Murphy was the third on Cathy Auld's team. From 2014-2015 she was the third on Clancy Grandy's team. From 2015–2018 she was third on Jacqueline Harrison's team. In 2015, the team won the Gord Carroll Curling Classic, Oakville Fall Classic and Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic. The following year, the team won the Brantford Nissan Classic. Patrick "Pat" Janssen (born May 12, 1987) is a Canadian curler from Burlington, Ontario. He currently plays second on Team John Epping. Career Youth Janssen skipped the University of Toronto men's curling team at the 2010 CIS/CCA Curling Championships, finishing with a 4–3 record. In 2005 he won the provincial schoolboy championship playing for his high school, Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate Institute. Men's Janssen joined the Mark Kean rink in 2010, playing second on the team. In 2011, the team played in their first Grand Slam event, the January 2011 Canadian Open. The team finished the event with an 0–5 record. 2012 CIS/CCA Curling Championships
The 2012 CIS/CCA Curling Championships were held from March 14 to 18 at the Welland Curling Club in Welland, Ontario. The host university of the event was Brock University, located in nearby St. Catharines. The winners of the event, the teams from the University of Alberta and from Wilfrid Laurier University skipped by Brendan Bottcher and Laura Crocker, respectively, will go on to represent Canada at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Trentino, Italy. Eight teams of each gender competed at the championships, including two from Western Canada, two from Atlantic Canada, and three from Ontario, including the hosts, Brock University.
