''Hell of a Tester'' (sometimes written Hellofatester) is the third studio album by The Rasmus, then called Rasmus. It was released in 1998 by Warner Music and received Gold status in Finland. The most popular single was ''Liquid'', which was released in September, getting into the Top 40 on MTV Nordic. It was voted Single of the Year for 1998 by music critics and fans and the video won an award in 1999 at the Finnish Music Video Awards. The booklet and cover art has braille dotting of lyrics from the songs inside and "Hellofatester" on the cover. The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Swimming With The Kids
"Swimming with the Kids" is a song by the Finnish rock band The Rasmus, originally released on the band's third album ''Hell of a Tester'' on 2 November 1998. The single was released in 1999 by the record label Warner Music Finland. It was the second and the last single from the album ''Hell of a Tester''. It features a remixed version of the track "Tempo", which was remixed by DJ Midas and can't be found anywhere. Also the single contains a new version of the track " Life 705" for the year 1999, though this version of "Life 705" can be found on the band's compilation album, ''Hell of a Collection'' (2001). "Swimming with the Kids" is a pretty funky song and not very serious. It was written by lead singer Lauri Ylönen and produced by the band themselves and Teja Kotilainen. Lauri Johannes Ylönen (born 23 April 1979) is a Finnish singer-songwriter, best known as the co-founder and frontman of the Finland, Finnish alternative rock musical ensemble, band The Rasmus. Biography The Rasmus When he and Heinonen started at Suutarila high school in the early 1990s, they met Pauli Rantasalmi and later Janne Heiskanen. Ylönen initiated the project of The Rasmus (then called just "Rasmus") in 1994, along with Eero Heinonen (bass guitar, bass) Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar), and Jarno Lahti (Drum kit, drums), with Lahti subsequently being replaced by Heiskanen. First, they called themselves Trashmosh, then Anttila, and at last Rasmus. They played their very first show before the winter break in school, 1994.
