The City of Keilor was a local government area about northwest of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The city covered an area of , and existed from 1863 until 1994. History Keilor was first incorporated as a road district on 3 March 1863. It became a shire on 22 December 1871, and was proclaimed a city on 29 April 1961. Kealba recorded a population of 3,226 the 2021 census. The name of the suburb is derived from the letters of two of its neighbouring suburbs, namely Keilor and St Albans. History The land was part of the Overnewton Estate owned by William Taylor, who had Overnewton Castle built on the Calder Highway. After the Government demanded the release of land by large landowners, two large farm allotments were sold to Farquhar Macrae and his wife Annie (née Ritchie). Calder Park, Victoria
Calder Park is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Brimbank local government area. Calder Park recorded no population at the 2021 census. Wedged between the Calder Freeway and the Bendigo railway line, Calder Park has no residential dwellings within its bounds, with the chapel being the only structure, situated adjacent to the Calder Park Raceway. This is located in the northern half of the suburb, with the southern half comprising open fields and the adjoining Taylors Lakes. City Of Hume
The City of Hume is a local government area located within the metropolitan area of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It includes the outer north-western suburbs and a number of rural localities between 13 and 40 kilometres from the Melbourne city centre. It has an area of 504 square kilometres, and in June 2018 it had a population of 224,394. The City was formed on 15 December 1994 after the amalgamation of most of the City of Broadmeadows, the Shire of Bulla and parts of the City of Keilor and City of Whittlesea.
