Citizens For Good Governance (SHUJAN)
Shushashoner Jonno Nagorik (translation: Citizens for Good Governance) (SHUJAN) is an organization in Bangladesh. The word SHUJAN, is a Bengali word. It came from an sentence "''Shushanar Janniya Nagorik – SHUJAN''". The headquarter of this organization located in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. History SHUJAN was founded in 2002. Badiul Alam Majumdar is the founding secretary of Shujan. In October 2022, Shujan said that it would be not possible for a political government in Bangladesh to hold a fair election using the by-elections from Gaibandha-5 as an example. Badiul Alam Majumdar denied allegations by the chief election commission, KM Nurul Huda, that he criticised the Election Commission after failing to get a job from the commission. Rizwana Hasan
Syeda Rizwana Hasan (born 15 January 1968) is a Bangladeshi attorney and environmentalist. She has particularly focused on regulations for the shipbreaking industry in Bangladesh, and was awarded the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2009. Shahdeen Malik
Shahdeen Malik is a Bangladeshi lawyer, eminent jurist, a constitutional expert, and legal activist. Early life Malik's father, Abdul Malik Chowdhury, was the chief conservatory officer of the Forest Department. He did his masters in law at the Patrice Lumumba University in Russia in 1979. Ali Imam Majumder
Ali Imam Majumder is a former Cabinet Secretary of Bangladesh. He is the Secretary General of Transparency International Bangladesh executive committee member of Citizens for Good Governance (SHUJAN). Hameeda Hossain (née Akhund; born 1936) is a Bangladeshi human rights activist and academic. She has published many books and articles relating to human rights and women's issues in Bangladesh, in Islam, and worldwide.
