Cinema Foundation Of Russia
Russian Cinema Fund Analytics, known as Cinema Fund (Фонд Кино; Officially Federal Fund for Economic and social support of the Russian Cinematography, Федеральный фонд социальной и экономической поддержки отечественной кинематографии), is the Russian Government's key funding body for the Russian screen production industry. Its functions are to support and promote the development of a highly creative, innovative and commercially sustainable industry, with a mandate to promote the creation and distribution of films in Russia as well as to preserve the country's film history. It also had a production arm responsible for production and commissioning of films for the Russian Government. Roskino (Russian: Роскино), formerly Roskomkino (Роскомкино), is a state body representing Russian industry of audiovisual content on the international markets, a national operator for the promotion of films, series and animation as well as the creative potential of Russian talents abroad and co-production opportunities within Russian Federation. History Intorgkino was created in 1924 to promote Soviet Russian film productions, and later all Soviet film production, abroad. It became Sovexportfilm in 1945. In filmmaking, a pitch is a concise verbal (and sometimes visual) presentation of an idea for a film or TV series generally made by a screenwriter or film director to a film producer or studio executive in the hope of attracting development finance to pay for the writing of a screenplay.
