Cleophus "Cid" Edwards, (October 10, 1943 – April 6, 2013) was a graduate from Tennessee State University who played professional American football in the NFL from 1968 to 1975. Selma is a city in and the county seat of Dallas County, in the Black Belt region of south central Alabama and extending to the west. The San Diego Chargers were a professional American football team that played in San Diego from 1961 until the end of the 2016 season, before relocating to Los Angeles, where the franchise had played its inaugural 1960 season.
