Chung Hua University
Chung Hua University (CHU; ) is a private university located in Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It was formerly known as Chung Hua Polytechnic Institute founded in 1990 by three local Hsinchu entrepreneurs, Ron-Chang Wang, Zau-Juang Tsai and Lin Junq-tzer. It was upgraded to university status and renamed as "Chung Hua University" in 1997. There are six colleges with 25 departments offering undergraduate courses as well as 16 master programs and 3 PH.D. programs. CHU is accredited by AACSB. Xiangshan or Siangshan District is a district in southwest Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It is the largest of the three districts in Hsinchu City. Miaoli County
Miaoli County (Mandarin Pinyin: ''miáo lì xiàn''; Hakka PFS: ''Mèu-li̍t-yen''; Hokkien POJ: ''Biâu-le̍k-koān'' or ''Miâu-le̍k-koān'') is a county in western Taiwan. Miaoli is adjacent with Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City to the north, Taichung to the south, and borders the Taiwan Strait to the west. Miaoli is classified as a county in central Taiwan by the National Development Council, while the Taiwan Central Weather Bureau classifies Miaoli as a county in northern Taiwan. Legislative Yuan
The Legislative Yuan is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in Taipei. The Legislative Yuan is composed of 113 members, who are directly elected for 4-year terms by people of the Taiwan Area through a parallel voting system. Originally located in Nanking, the Legislative Yuan, along with the National Assembly (electoral college) and the Control Yuan (upper house), formed the tricameral parliament under the original 1947 Constitution. The Legislative Yuan previously had 759 members representing each constituencies of all provinces, municipalities, Tibet, Outer Mongolia and various professions. Lu Chia-chen
Lu Chia-chen (; born 1 January 1953) is a Taiwanese politician. Education Lu earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Chung Hua University. Political career Lu is a longtime ally of Wang Jin-pyng. Lu served on the township council as a representative of Tucheng District for two terms. He then was elected to the Taipei County Council, again for two terms. Lu returned to Tucheng as district leader, and ran for a seat on the Legislative Yuan near the end of his second term. He was elected to the Legislative Yuan in January 2008, defeating Lee Wen-chung, but did not take office at the start of the February legislative session. Because Lu held his Tucheng District post until March, the need for a local by-election was eliminated. Lin Chih-chien (; born 27 May 1975) is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Mayor of Hsinchu City from 25 December 2014 to 8 July 2022. Early life and education Lin earned his bachelor's degree in business administration followed by a master's degree in technology management from Chung Hua University's College of Management in 2008. Hsu Yao-chang (; born 30 June 1955) is a Taiwanese politician. He represented Miaoli County in the Legislative Yuan from 2002 to 2014, when he was elected Magistrate of Miaoli County. Education Hsu graduated from the Chin-Min Institute of Technology and completed his master's degree in industrial and commercial management at Chung Hua University.
