Chrystal Belle Scrodd
Chrystal Belle Scrodd is the stage name and solo musical project of Diana Rogerson, an occasional member and associate of British experimental group Nurse With Wound. Scrodd's first album, ''The Inevitable Chrystal Belle Scrodd Record'', was released on the United Dairies label in 1985 and featured contributions from Steven Stapleton of Nurse With Wound, Robert Haigh and Karl Blake, among others. A second album, ''Belle de Jour'', was released in 1986. The 1993 compilation ''Beastings'' collects tracks from both releases, and the 1999 Nurse With Wound compilation ''The Swinging Reflective'' collects three of these recordings (credited to Diana Rogerson). Steven Stapleton
Steven Peter Stapleton (born 3 February 1957) is an English musician who is best known as the only constant member of experimental improv outfit Nurse with Wound. He is often seen as one of the pioneers of the British industrial music scene, alongside bands such as Throbbing Gristle, Monte Cazazza and Cabaret Voltaire, although in his music he has explored a wide range of styles, including free-form improvisation, folk, and even Latin American dance rhythms. Nurse with Wound, originally a three-piece ensemble, is Stapleton's main outlet for his musical work, occasionally in collaboration with other musicians such as Foetus or William Bennett (of Whitehouse). He has also appeared on records by other artists and worked as a producer. He runs the United Dairies record label, which apart from the NWW output released records by Current 93, the Lemon Kittens and Volcano the Bear, as well as krautrock and several experimental artists. Robert Haigh
Robert (Herbie) Haigh (born 27 March 1945 in Adelaide, South Australia) is a former hockey player from Australia, a three time olympian who won two Olympic silver medals as a member of the national team at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City and the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. He also competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, where the Australian team finished fifth. Since retiring as a player, he has worked closely with the Australian men's and women's national programs as an assistant coach and senior selector. He also spent a number of years as the South Australian Sports Institute head coach in charge of the men's and women's elite programs, and the Australian Hockey League coach of the SA Hotshots. He was an assistant coach to Ric Charlesworth with the Australian women's team, the Hockeyroos, during the golden era of Australian women's hockey and in 2010 was a selector for the men's national team, the Kookaburras. Karl Blake
Karl Blake (born 1956 in Reading, Berkshire, England) is a vocalist, bassist, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Most of his own music can be described as progressive-experimental and sometimes psychedelic. Musical career Blake is most noted, in addition to his solo work, for his work with Lemon Kittens, Danielle Dax, Shock Headed Peters, Sol Invictus, Current 93, Left Hand Right Hand, Seven Pines and Gaƫ Bolg and the Church of Fand. Other past projects include Alternative TV, The Underneath, Evil Twin, British Racing Green and various other solo and session work.
