Christos Kontis
Christos Kontis ( el, Χρήστος Κόντης, born 13 May 1975) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Club career Kontis started his career at Ethnikos Piraeus. In Greece he played also for Panionios, Olympiacos and AEK Athens. With Olympiacos he won 3 Greek Championships. In the summer of 2006 he moved to Cyprus and signed with APOEL. During his five-year spell with APOEL, he won 3 Championships, 1 Cup and 3 Super Cups. He also appeared in four official 2009–10 UEFA Champions League group stage matches with APOEL. End of career After a successful career at APOEL, Christos Kontis was forced to retire due to heart failure problems. During the first official 2011–12 Cypriot First Division match (29 August 2011) between AEK Larnaca and APOEL, Kontis felt a slight discomfort and a pain in his chest. 2007–08 Cypriot Cup
The 2007–08 Cypriot Cup was the 66th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 54 clubs entered the competition. It began on 8 September 2007 with the first round and concluded on 17 May 2008 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. APOEL won their 19th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Anorthosis 2–0 in the final. Format In the 2007–08 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division, the Cypriot Second Division, the Cypriot Third Division and 12 of the 14 teams of the Cypriot Fourth Division. Takis Lemonis
Takis Lemonis ( el, Τάκης Λεμονής; born 13 January 1960) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Playing career Takis Lemonis played for local club Attikos before playing for Olympiakos from 1978 until 1987. He also played for Levadiakos (1987 – 1991) and Ιonikos 1992, Panionios (1992 – 1993), finishing his career in Ethnikos at 1994. During his playing career, Lemonis was capped twice by the Greece national football team. Coaching career Having stopped football as a player, Lemonis studied coaching in England and, in 1996, became head coach at Asteras Zografou.
