Christopher Taylor (born October 1, 1999) is a Jamaican 400 metre runner. He won the 400 metres event at the 2015 World Youth Championships in Athletics in Cali, Colombia in 45.27 seconds, a Jamaica Youth Record. Taylor also won the U-18 400 metres at the 2015 CARIFTA Games in a championship record time of 46.64. Jamaica

2015 CARIFTA Games
The 2015 CARIFTA Games took place between 3 and 6 April 2015. The event was held at the Silver Jubilee Stadium in Bird Rock, south-eastern suburb of Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. During the games, the stadium was officially renamed the "Kim Collins National Athletic Stadium" in honour of the country's 2003 100m world champion Kim Collins. CARIFTA Games
The CARIFTA Games is an annual athletics competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA). The games was first held in 1972 and consists of track and field events including sprint races, hurdles, middle distance track events, jumping and throwing events, and relays. The Games has two age categories: under-17 (under-18 until 2017) and under-20. Only countries associated with CARIFTA may compete in the competition. The IAAF U18 Championships in Athletics (until 2015 known as IAAF World Youth Championships in Athletics) was a global athletics event comprising track and field events for competitors who were 17 or younger (youth = Under-18). The event was organized by International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). It was held biennially from 1999 to 2017. The name change and cancellation In the 206th IAAF Council Meeting, held after the 2016 Summer Olympics, the council decided to conclude the world championship for under-18 athletes after the 2017 event. The decision was made with the intention of improving under-18 competitions at continental level instead.
