Air Marshal Sir Christopher Nigel Harper, (born 25 March 1957) is a senior Royal Air Force officer, who served as the UK Military Representative to NATO and the European Union from 2011 to 2013 and as Director General of the NATO International Military Staff from 2013 to 2016. He was previously Deputy Commander Allied Joint Force Command at Brunssum in the Netherlands (2009–11), and Air Officer Commanding No. 1 Group in the UK (2007–09). Education and personal Harper was educated at Alleyn's School in Dulwich and King's College London (MA, Defence Studies). He is married with one son and enjoys flying, shooting, running, riding motorcycles and gastronomy. Career Harper was commissioned as an acting pilot officer after winning the Sword of Honour at Initial Officer Training in 1976; he regraded to pilot officer the following year. Christopher Deon Harper (born September 10, 1989) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Kansas State, and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Harper has also been a member of the San Francisco 49ers , the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants. High school Harper was born in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Northwest High School in Wichita, and played high school football for the Northwest Grizzlies. As a quarterback, he completed 55 percent of his passes while accumulating 761 yards and eight passing touchdowns. He also rushed for 506 yards and 10 scores his senior year for the Grizzlies, who ended the year with a 7-3 record and advanced the first round of the state playoffs. Landover Baptist Church
The Landover Baptist Church is the website of a parody fundamentalist Baptist church. The church lampoons fundamentalist, Independent Baptist churches and Biblical literalism, and originated as a satire of Liberty University. Origin The site was created by Chris Harper, who obtained his master's degree in English literature from George Mason University in 1993 after being expelled from Liberty University (founded by Jerry Falwell) in 1989 for producing a radio show satirising the school's procedures which Liberty's administration found offensive. Harper responded to the expulsion by creating the Landover Baptist Church website, described by Pop Matters as both a parody and an exposé of the religious subculture at Liberty.
