Christophe Lacassagne (born 18 August 1964) is a French contemporary baritone. Born in Tarbes, Lacassagne began training as an actor at the age of 17 under the direction of Mercedes Tormo at the Théâtre du Matin. ''Lost in the Stars'' is a musical with book and lyrics by Maxwell Anderson and music by Kurt Weill, based on the novel ''Cry, the Beloved Country'' (1948) by Alan Paton. The musical premiered on Broadway in 1949; it was the composer's last work for the stage before he died the following year.
