Christophe Beaugrand
Christophe Beaugrand (born January 2, 1977) is a French television presenter and journalist. Early life and education Christophe Beaugrand was born in Massy in the department of Essonne. During his adolescence, he wrote for television series and comics in a child magazine. In 1992, he made his debut in audiovisual starting in radio. He began his career as a radio presenter in a local radio station of the Essonne and later on Ado FM. In the meantime, he studied journalism at the CELSA of Neuilly. In 1988, he participated at a talent show hosted by Jacques Martin where he finished among the finalists. After a hypokhâgne, he graduated at the IUT de Journalisme of Bordeaux in 1999, he made freelance works for printed media, especially for ''France Soir''. Massy () is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 14.7 kilometres (9.1 mi) from the center of Paris. Population Massy underwent rapid development within a short period of time, transforming from a large borough of 6,000 inhabitants in 1950 to a town exceeding 37,000 inhabitants in 1968. TFX (formerly NT1) is a French free television network owned by Groupe TF1. History TFX, under the name NT1, was created in 2004 by AB Groupe for the launch of the TNT platform scheduled for March 2005. In late 2004, AB Group announced their intention to call the channel La Quatre (The Four). However, in January 2005, France Télévisions announced that they would rebrand their channel Festival as France 4. AB Groupe decided to revert to the NT1 name. In June 2009, TF1 Group agreed to buy the channel from AB Groupe, as well as AB's 40% stake in TMC Monte Carlo (which would take TF1's total stake to 80%). The deal was cleared by France's competition authority and subsequently by the Council of State in December 2010, dismissing an appeal by Métropole Télévision. Virgin 17
Virgin 17 was a French music video and TV show television network owned by the MCM Group, a subsidiary of Lagardère Active. It was available through digital terrestrial television (DTT). The channel was created for the launch of DTT and modeled after MCM, another channel owned by Lagardère Active. It initially had the working title "iMCM", but before launch it was named after the radio station Europe 2, and was then renamed Virgin 17 on 1 January 2008 (along with the radio station which became Virgin Radio France) From 1 September 2010, Virgin 17 changed its name to Direct Star.
