Christine Jardine
Christine Anne Jardine (born 24 November 1960) is a Scottish Liberal Democrat politician serving as the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Women and Equalities, the Cabinet Office and Scotland since July 2022. She was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Edinburgh West in 2017. She previously served as Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Treasury, Europe, Exiting the European Union and International Trade from 2020 to 2022. She was the Liberal Democrat Home Affairs Spokesperson from 2019 to 2020. Education and early career Jardine was educated at Braidfield High School and the University of Glasgow, where she graduated with a MA (Hons). She is a former journalist, who worked for BBC Scotland and was editor of the Press Association in Scotland. Phillip Lee (politician)
Phillip James Lee (born 28 September 1970) is a British doctor and politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bracknell from 2010 until 2019. A former member of the Conservative Party, which he left in 2019 to join the Liberal Democrats, he unsuccessfully stood for the neighbouring Wokingham constituency in the 2019 general election. Lee was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State responsible for youth justice, victims, female offenders and offender health at the Ministry of Justice in July 2016. He resigned from the government in June 2018 in response to its handling of Brexit. Clydebank High School
Clydebank High School is a non-denominational secondary school in Clydebank, Scotland. It is one of three non-denominational secondary schools in West Dunbartonshire. History The Education (Scotland) Act 1872 created for the first time mandatory education for children aged 5-13. As a result, the Old Kilpatrick School Board made arrangements for the first 'Clydebank School' to be created in the canteen (or 'bothy') of the shipyard. The first day when pupils were enrolled was 11th August 1873. Prior to this, 'Mrs Pitblado's Adventure school' existed, but her school, which was based in a tenement house, declined to come under the control of the school board (as required by the Education (Scotland) Act) and is therefore not considered part of the heritage of today's school. Michelle Rhonda Thomson (née Perks; born 11 March 1965) is a Scottish businesswoman and Scottish National Party (SNP) politician. Edinburgh West is a burgh constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, first contested at the 1885 general election. Prior to the 2005 general election, the boundaries were the same as the eponymous constituency of the Scottish Parliament, which had been created in 1999.
