Christian Nehammer
Hans-Christian Nehammer (born 26 May 1976) is an Austrian sailor, who specialized in the keelboat (Star) class. Together with his partner and five-time Olympian Hans Spitzauer, he was named one of the country's top sailors in the all-male keelboat for the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in twelfth place. A seven-time Austrian champion in his pet event, Nehammer sailed all of his sporting career for the Union Yacht Club in Attersee. Nehammer competed for the Austrian sailing squad, as a 32-year-old crew member in the Star class, at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Kiel
Kiel () is the capital and most populous city in the northern Germany, German state of Schleswig-Holstein, with a population of 246,243 (2021). Kiel lies approximately north of Hamburg. The Star World Championship are international sailing regattas in the Star class organized by the International Star Class Yacht Racing Association sanctioned by International Sailing Federation. American sailor Lowell North has won the most titles, with five titles between 1945 and 1973 and another seven podiums. Brazilian crew Bruno Prada won also five titles between 2007 and 2019. The most crowned skipper-crew combinations are Italian duo Agostino Straulino and Nicolò Rode and Brazilian duo Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada, with three titles each. Bill Buchan, Jr. has three titles, but with different crew. American sailors have won the most championships, 55 editions, followed by Brazilian sailors, with seven titles, and sailors of Italy with six titles and Germany with five. Riva Del Garda
Riva del Garda (''Rìva'' in local dialect) is a town and ''comune'' in the northern Italian province of Trento of the Trentino Alto Adige region. It is also known simply as ''Riva'' and is located at the northern tip of Lake Garda. History Riva del Garda belonged to the Republic of Venice, the Bishopric of Trent, the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy and later (1815–1918) to the Austro-Hungarian Empire (when it was known as ). During the Third Italian War of Independence, Riva del Garda was an important supply base for the Austrian navy and was the only town on the lake captured by Italian forces.
