Christian Lundgaard
Christian Lundgaard (born 23 July 2001) is a Danish professional racing driver who is driving the No. 45 Honda for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in the IndyCar Series. He was the 2022 IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year, and was a member of the Alpine Academy from 2017 until 2022. Lundgaard began his single-seater career in 2017, where he won the F4 Spanish and SMP F4 Championship in his debut year. In 2018, he made a move to the Formula Renault Eurocup, where he placed runner-up to Max Fewtrell. He secured a promotion to ART Grand Prix in the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship where he ended 6th. Lundgaard continued with ART Grand Prix for the 2020 Formula 2 Championship and took two wins to place 7th overall. However, a poor 2021 season saw him make a switch to IndyCar for 2022. The 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship was the inaugural season of the FIA Formula 3 Championship, a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open-wheel formula racing cars. The championship featured drivers competing in 3.4-litre Formula 3 racing cars which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, of the championship. The 2021 FIA Formula 2 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula 2 cars that was sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the fifty-fifth season of Formula 2 racing and the fifth season run under the FIA Formula 2 Championship moniker. It was an open-wheel racing category that served as the second tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. Max Fewtrell
Maximilian Bradley Fewtrell (born 29 July 1999) is a British former racing driver, and former member of the Renault Sport Academy and 2016 British F4 champion. He competed in the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship for Hitech Grand Prix alongside Kiwi Liam Lawson and Norwegian Dennis Hauger, having driven for ART Grand Prix in the 2019 season. Career Karting Fewtrell was born in Birmingham. At a young age, he moved to Malaysia first, then Singapore for 9 years. He also has an older brother, Sam, and a younger brother, Theo. Max began karting in 2009 at the age of ten after watching the Singapore Grand Prix. Fewtrell karted in Singapore but competed mainly in Malaysia. Alpine Academy
The Alpine Academy – formerly known as the RF1 Driver Programme, Renault Driver Development and Renault Sport Academy – is a program to support young racing drivers through their careers. The programme was created by Renault F1 in 2002. In 2011, the programme was renamed LRGP Academy, following the rebranding of the team to "Lotus Renault GP". In 2012, the programme was renamed Lotus F1 Team iRace Professional Programme and 2013–2015, the programme was renamed Lotus F1 Junior Team. In 2021, the programme was renamed Alpine Academy after the rebranding of the Renault F1 team into Alpine F1 Team. 2017 F4 Spanish Championship
The 2017 F4 Spanish Championship was the second season of the Spanish F4 Championship. It was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, taking place in Spain, France and Portugal. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.4 litre Tatuus-Abarth single seat race cars that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The series was organised by Koiranen GP and RFEDA. MP Motorsport driver Christian Lundgaard won the drivers' championship after winning in the finale at Estoril. The 2017 SMP F4 Championship is the third season of the SMP F4 Championship. The series is also known as FIA North-European Zone (NEZ) championship. Among the team partaking in the championship are SMP Racing (who have been partaking in the series since its inception), MP Motorsport MP Motorsport (previously Marcel Peters Motorsport) is a Dutch auto racing team currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
