Christian Andreas Irgens
Christian Andreas Irgens (6 July 1833 - 15 April 1915) was a Norwegian businessman and Member of parliament. Biography He was born in Bergen, Norway as the son of Johan Daniel Stub Irgens and Susanne Cathrine Møller. Through his father he was a distant relative of Jens Stub who was a member of the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Irgens was a member of the Bergen City Council. At that time he worked as a businessman operating the Bjørsvik Flour Mill (''Bjørsvigs Melforretning'') on Osterfjorden outside Bergen. Jens Stub
Jens Stub (3 March 1764 – 24 October 1819) was a Norwegian priest and politician. He was vicar on the island of Veøya and served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Biography He was the son of district stipendiary magistrate (''sorenskriver'') Johan Daniel Stub (1736–1802) and grandson of Lauritz Stub (1708-1774), both of whom served as judges in Bergen. He grew up in the parish of Eid in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. His brother was Gerhard Heiberg Stub (1781-1831), a merchant in Bergen. In August 1793 he married his cousin Gjertrud Helene Heiberg (1774–1852) at Talvik in Finnmark. Jens Stub was a priest by education. He earned his degree in theology ( Cand.theol.) in 1788. Norwegian Constitutional Assembly
The Norwegian Constituent Assembly (in Norwegian ''Grunnlovsforsamlingen'', also known as ''Riksforsamlingen'') is the name given to the 1814 constitutional assembly at Eidsvoll in Norway, that adopted the Norwegian Constitution and formalised the dissolution of the union with Denmark. In Norway, it is often just referred to as ''Eidsvollsforsamlingen'', which means ''The Assembly of Eidsvoll''. Eidsvoll (; sometimes written as ''Eidsvold'') is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the Romerike traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Sundet. Osterfjorden
Osterfjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. The fjord is one of three fjords surrounding the island of Osterøy (island), Osterøy. The fjord runs along the municipal border of Alver (municipality), Alver and Osterøy municipalities. The fjord begins at the Romarheimsfjorden and flows to the west for before ending near the village of Knarvik at the confluence of four fjords: Osterfjorden, Radfjorden (to the north), Sørfjorden (Osterøy), Sørfjorden (to the south), and Salhusfjorden (to the west).
