Christer Ulfbåge
Christer Ulfbåge (born 7 May 1942, in Falköping, Sweden), is a Swedish sports journalist and commentator and earlier presenter of Sportspegeln and Sportnytt which are broadcast on SVT. Ulfbåge was for many years commentator for SVTs sports broadcasts of skiing, athletics. He started his career at Radiosporten at Sveriges Radio where between 1974 and 1980 amongst others he covered the achievements of Ingemar Stenmark. Falköping
Falköping is a locality and the seat of Falköping Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 16,350 inhabitants in 2010. History The town of Falköping was first spoken of in the Icelandic ''Rimbegla'' (around 1100 A.D.), and is mentioned in the Westrogothic law. It was also an important site of pilgrimage due to its 12th-century church dedicated to Saint Olaf (''Sankt Olofs kyrka''). The town was heading for a shut-down during the 16th century and was even burnt to the ground by the Danish during the Northern Seven Years' War. However the town survived and was rebuilt. Ingemar Stenmark
Jan Ingemar Stenmark (; born 18 March 1956) is a Swedish former World Cup alpine ski racer. He is regarded as one of the most prominent Swedish athletes ever, and as the greatest slalom and giant slalom specialist of all time. He competed for Tärna IK Fjällvinden. Biography Born in Joesjö, Storuman Municipality, Lapland, Stenmark's family moved to Tärnaby near Norway when he was four years old. He became a childhood neighbour of Stig Strand (also born 1956), who tied Stenmark for the World Cup slalom title in 1983.
