Chris Wright (born November 4, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Basket Zaragoza of the Spanish Liga ACB. When he played for the Dallas Mavericks in 2013, he became the first known player in NBA history to have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. High school career Wright played for St. John's College High School and he was the first three-time ''Washington Post'' All-Met selection since Adrian Dantley starred at DeMatha Catholic High School from 1971 to 1973. He scored 2,580 career points for St. John's, leaving as the all-time leader in points. Wright averaged 30.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 2006–07. He topped the 30-point mark 19 times and led the Cadets (24-9) to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title game where St. John's fell to Dematha. Twarde Pierniki Toruń is a Polish professional basketball team based in Toruń. The team currently plays in the Polish Basketball League (PLK). The 2007 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an All-star basketball game played on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, home of the University of Louisville Cardinals. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in 2007. The game was the 30th annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1978. The 48 players were selected from 2,500 nominees by a committee of basketball experts. They were chosen not only for their on-court skills, but for their performances off the court as well. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. The 2015–16 FIBA Europe Cup was the inaugural season of the newly formed basketball competition organised by FIBA. The season started on 21 October 2015 and ended on 1 May 2016. The competition replaced the EuroChallenge and had the aim to take the place of Eurocup (organised by Euroleague Basketball), as the second-tier competition in Europe. The FIBA Europe Cup (FEC) is an annual professional club basketball competition organised by FIBA for eligible European clubs. It is FIBA's European-wide second level.
