Chris Wormley
Christopher Keith Wormley (born October 25, 1993) is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He played college football at Michigan. Early years Wormley was born in 1993. He attended Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio, where he was an all-state football player. College career Wormley enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2012. During summer training camp in August 2012, Wormley sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament, did not play during the 2012 season, and received a medical redshirt. As a redshirt freshman in 2013, he appeared in 13 games as a backup defensive lineman. As a redshirt sophomore in 2014, Wormley appeared in 12 games, six as a starter. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. Timothy Lenord Jernigan Jr. (born September 24, 1992) is a former American football defensive end. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State. High school career A native of Lake City, Florida, Jernigan attended Columbia High School, where he was an All-American defensive lineman and teammates with All-American offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil for his junior and senior year. The 2017 NFL Draft was the 82nd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. It was held in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on April 27–29, returning to Philadelphia for the first time since 1961. The player selections were announced from an outdoor theater built on the Rocky Steps, marking the first time an entire NFL draft was held outdoors. The UCF Knights football team represents the University of Central Florida (UCF) in the sport of American football. The Michigan Daily
''The Michigan Daily'' is the weekly student newspaper of the University of Michigan. Its first edition was published on September 29, 1890. The newspaper is financially and editorially independent of the University's administration and other student groups, but shares a university building with other student publications on 420 Maynard Street, north of the Michigan Union and Huetwell Student Activities Center. In 2007, renovations to the historic building at 420 Maynard were completed, funded entirely by private donations from alumni. To dedicate the renovated building, a reunion of the staffs of ''The Michigan Daily'', the ''Michiganensian'' yearbook, and the ''Gargoyle'' ''Humor Magazine'' was held on October 26–28, 2007. The 2016 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the sport of college football during the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Jonathan Duane "Jake" Butt (born July 11, 1995) is a former American football tight end and current football analyst for the Big Ten Network. He played college football at Michigan. As a junior, he won the Ozzie Newsome Award. He was selected as a first-team All-American and was named Kwalick–Clark Tight End of the Year in both 2015 and 2016.
