Chris Rotelli
Chris Rotelli (born December 18, 1980) is a professional lacrosse player who had a standout collegiate career at the University of Virginia before going on to the professional ranks in Major League Lacrosse. High school and collegiate career A native of Rumford, Rhode Island, Chris Rotelli played high school lacrosse at Moses Brown School, where he was a three-time high school All-American and four-time All-State selection. He then attended the University of Virginia from 2000 to 2003, where he became one of the most decorated midfielders in Cavaliers history. As a senior in 2003, Rotelli helped lead the team to the 2003 NCAA Division I National Championship. He was the team's leading scorer with 49 points and was among the ACC leaders in scoring, goals, and assists. San Francisco Dragons
The San Francisco Dragons were a professional field lacrosse team based in San Francisco and San Jose, California. From 2006–2008, they played in Major League Lacrosse and they ceased operations before the 2009 season due to the economic situation in the United States. Franchise history The San Francisco Dragons were awarded an MLL franchise in July 2005. The original owners were Michael Levitt, Chris Bulger, and Charley Biggs. The USILA All-American Team is an honor given annually to the best American men's college lacrosse players at their respective positions by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Kyle Harrison (lacrosse)
Kyle Harrison (born March 12, 1983) is an American retired professional lacrosse player. He now serves as the PLL Director of Player Relations and Diversity Inclusion. He had a seventeen year career in professional field lacrosse, and played for the US national lacrosse team twice. As a college lacrosse player at Johns Hopkins University, he played at the two-way midfield position and also took face-offs. He was a team captain on the 2005 team that went undefeated (16-0) to win the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship. The same year, he won the Tewaaraton Men's Player of the Year Award. As a professional lacrosse player, he was a 9-time all-star, 12-time team captain, and won the 2017 championship. Kevin Cassese
Kevin Cassese (born April 5, 1981) is a professional lacrosse player with the Philadelphia Barrage, and head coach of the Lehigh University men's lacrosse team. Cassese played collegiate lacrosse at Duke University, where he helped lead the Blue Devils to three NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship, NCAA Tournament appearances. In 2002, he won the McLaughlin Award as the nation's top midfielder. In 2002, Cassese played with US Lacrosse, Team USA that won the World Lacrosse Championship. Michael Powell (lacrosse)
Michael Powell (born October 29, 1982) is a former American professional lacrosse player who was a four-time First Team All-American at Syracuse University, played professional lacrosse for the Baltimore Bayhawks and Boston Cannons, and played on the United States team in the 2002 & 2006 World Lacrosse Championships where he was named to the All-World Team. Powell is the only player to win the Jack Turnbull Award as the top attackman in Division I lacrosse four consecutive times. Powell was also a four-time finalist for the Tewaaraton Trophy, the lacrosse equivalent of the Heisman Trophy, and is one of two male players to win the award twice. Philip Rivers
Philip Michael Rivers (born December 8, 1981) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons, primarily with the Chargers franchise. He played college football at NC State and was selected fourth overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, who traded him to the San Diego Chargers during the draft. Juan Dixon
Juan Dixon (born October 9, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player and the current head coach for Coppin State University in Baltimore. Dixon led the University of Maryland Terrapins to their first NCAA championship in 2002 and earned Most Outstanding Player honors at the 2002 Final Four. Early life Dixon was born in Baltimore, Maryland where he attended Lake Clifton High School as a freshman. He then attended and played basketball at Calvert Hall, a high school in Towson, Maryland. The 2006 Major League Lacrosse season was the sixth season of the league. The season began on May 20 and concluded with the championship game on August 27, 2006. General information The season marked the first expansion teams in the MLL. Chicago Machine, Denver Outlaws, Los Angeles Riptide and San Francisco Dragons made up the new Western Conference. The original six teams formed the Eastern Conference. New Jersey moved its home games to Yurcak Field and Rochester moved its home games to PAETEC Park.
