Chris Peppler
Christopher Daniel Peppler (born October 22, 1957, in Tokyo, Japan), simply known as , is a Japanese-American radio personality. Peppler is a navigator for J-Wave's ''Tokio Hot 100'' and the host of ''Tokyo Eye 2020''. Personal life Peppler was born to a German-American father and a Japanese mother in Seibo Hospital. There isn't any Japanese in his name due to the request of his mother, who wanted to name her son Chris. Through his grandmother, he is a descendant of Akechi Mitsuhide. After graduating from St. Mary International School, he moved to California. He later moved back to Japan to begin his DJ career. Shortly after in 2006, he met and married fellow DJ Yukari Kimishima. He is also fluent in French as his third language. M-Flo
is a Japanese hip hop group consisting of record producer DJ Taku Takahashi, Verbal and Lisa. Lisa left the group in 2002 to pursue a solo career and the remaining members then started the M-Flo Loves... project working different vocalists for each song over three albums, including the likes of Namie Amuro, Bonnie Pink, Koda Kumi and BoA. Their mainstream success and critical acclaim established them as the most iconic and influential hip-hop production team in Japan with success throughout Asia. Taku Takahashi and Verbal also started successful side-projects outside M-Flo, such as the Teriyaki Boyz and Global Astro Alliance collaborating with international producers and artists such as Kanye West and the Beastie Boys. , known as , is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter, originating from Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture. Biography Her debut release was the 1978 ''Oribia o Kikinagara'' (While Listening to Olivia), written by Amii Ozaki. Her song "Cat's Eye" was used as the first opening theme for the eponymous 1983 anime series '' Cat's Eye'' and debuted as No. 1 on ''Countdown Japan''. It spent 4 weeks at No. 1 on the Oricon chart.
