Chris Mason (born 14 February 1991) is a British actor. He is known for playing Chad Gekko in '' Riverdale''. He is also known for portraying Leo Humphries in '' Broadchurch''. He also played the young Dan Broderick in '' Dirty John''. Films he has appeared in include '' Vampire Academy'' (2014) and '' Legend'' (2015). He also appeared in the film ''Mad Genius'' (2017). Mason will portray Keiran Atreides in the upcoming Max series '' Dune: Prophecy'' and John Lennon in the upcoming new series of ''Doctor Who''. Personal life Mason was born in Edge Hill, Liverpool and raised in Broadgreen. Mason has been married to Spencer Locke since 2017 and they have a daughter, Monroe (b. 2020). Broadgreen (officially Broad Green) is an eastern suburb of Liverpool, Merseyside, England.
