Chris Hyde
Chris Hyde (born 9 August 1982) is a former Australian rules football player for the Richmond Football Club. He retired as an AFL player in 2008 after playing 93 games, and now works for the NSW Game Council as the Game Manager for the Snowy/South East region. Barooga Football Club
The Barooga Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Hawks'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Barooga located in the Riverina district of New South Wales. The club was formed in 1894 and initially played in the Murray Border Football Association in 1894. When the club won the Federal District Football Association premiership against Cobram Football Club in 1897, they were known as "The Boomerangs" and wore a red and white uniform. When Barooga FC re-formed in 1907 they wore an all-blue uniform in the Goulburn Valley Football Association in 1907 and 1908. Murray Bushrangers
The Murray Bushrangers is an Australian rules football team playing in Victorian statewide under-18s competition, presently known as the NAB League, since 1993 based in Wangaratta. The team trains on Norm Minns Oval. The team is coached by Mark Brown. Guernsey colours are Black, Purple and Yellow, with black socks and black (home) or white (away) shorts. Richmond Football Club
The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL). Between its inception in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 1885 and 1907, the club competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning two premierships. Richmond joined the Victorian Football League (now known as the AFL) in 1908 and has since won 13 premierships, most recently in 2020. Richmond's headquarters and training facilities are located at its original home ground, the Punt Road Oval, which sits adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the club's playing home since 1965. Richmond traditionally wears a black guernsey with a yellow sash. The club song, " We're From Tigerland", is well known for its "yellow and black" refrain. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Albury football and netball squads compete in the Ovens & Murray Football League. Ovens & Murray Football League
The Ovens and Murray Football Netball League (O&MFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball competition containing ten clubs based in north-eastern Victoria, the southern Riverina region of New South Wales and the Ovens and Murray area. The name comes from the Ovens River, the river in the part of north-eastern Victoria covered by the league, and the Murray River, which separates Victoria and New South Wales. The league features three grades in the Australian rules football competition, with these being First-Grade, Reserve-Grade and Under 18s. In the netball competition, there are four grades, with these being A-Grade, B-Grade, C-Grade and Under 16s. Currently a home and away season consisting of eighteen rounds is played. The best five teams then play off according to the McIntyre System, culminating in the O&MFNL Grand Final, which from 1995 to 2017 was held at the Lavington Sports Ground in the Albury suburb of Hamilton Valley.
