Charlie "Choo Choo" Brackins (January 12, 1932 – June 1, 1991) was an American former quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Green Bay Packers during the 1955 NFL season. Brackins is considered to be one of the first black quarterbacks to play in the NFL. Biography Brackins was born on January 12, 1932, in Dallas, Texas. He attended Lincoln High in Dallas. Professional career He played college football at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, from 1951 to 1955. Charlie "Choo Choo" Brown (born April 5, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American former professional boxer who was the IBF Lightweight champion of the world. Pro career Known as "Choo-Choo" Brown, Brown turned pro in 1979 and captured the vacant newly created IBF lightweight title with a decision win over Melvin Paul in 1984. Choo-Choo Coleman
Clarence "Choo-Choo" Coleman (August 25, 1937 – August 15, 2016) was an American professional baseball catcher, who played Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets. Career Clarence Coleman was born in Orlando, Florida on August 25, 1937. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Senators at age 18. He was released by the Senators and signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers, then taken by the Philadelphia Phillies in the rule V draft. In 1961, he appeared in 34 games for the Phillies, getting hit by a pitch in his first Major League plate appearance. He batted only .128 for the Phillies that year in 47 at bats. The Phillies finished in last place that year, a spot soon to be taken by the expansion New York Mets. In the offseason the Mets selected Coleman in the expansion draft. Charles Ronald "Choo-Choo" Justice (May 18, 1924 – October 17, 2003) was an American football halfback in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Early life Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Justice attended and played high school football at Lee H. Edwards High School (now Asheville, N.C., High School), where he was a part of two undefeated seasons. He averaged 25 yards per rush his last year in high school. His senior year, his team outscored the opposition 400-6. World War II After high school, Justice spent four years in the Navy in World War II. Michael Denzil Xavier Portillo (; born 26 May 1953) is a British journalist, broadcaster and former politician. His broadcast series include railway documentaries such as ''Great British Railway Journeys'' and '' Great Continental Railway Journeys''. Gene Roberts (American Football)
Eugene O. "Choo-Choo" Roberts (January 20, 1923 – July 6, 2009) was an American football halfback for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) from 1947 to 1950. Roberts played college football at Chattanooga, leading the NCAA in scoring in 1946 with 117 points. He set the NFL and the New York Giants single game rushing record with 218 yards on November 12, 1950 against the Chicago Cardinals. The NFL record was broken by Thomas Wilson of the Los Angeles Rams on December 16, 1956. The Giants single game rushing record stood for over 55 years, until it was broken by Tiki Barber on December 17, 2005. Roberts left the Giants in 1950 and played in the Canadian Football League for the Montreal Alouettes in 1951 and the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1952 to 1954. Harry Romero, better known as Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, is an Americans, American Disc jockey, DJ and record producer. Biography Harry Romero is linked with the record label, label Subliminal (record label), Subliminal with Erick Morillo and Jose Nuñez (DJ), Jose Nuñez, with whom he also produced and remixed several tracks, as 'Constipated Monkeys', 'The Dronez' or 'Ministers De La Funk'. The trio won the ''Muzik'' Remixer of the Year award in 1999. When working alone, he also uses the pseudonyms 'HCCR' and 'Mongobonix'.
