Chitta Ranjan Mitra
Chitta is one of the 32 villages located in the Soon Sakesar Valley in Khushab District of Pakistan. The population is around 4000. It is located 220 km south-west of Islamabad. Soon Valley
Soon Valley ( Punjabi, ur, ) is in the north west of Khushab District, Punjab, Pakistan. Its largest settlement is the town of Naushera. The valley extends from the village of Padhrar to Sakesar, the highest peak in the Salt Range. The valley is long and has an average width of . It covers a area. Soon Valley has an abundance of scenic beauty, with lakes, waterfalls, jungle, natural pools and ponds. The valley has been settled since ancient times, most recently by the Awan tribe, which still resides in the valley. The peak of Mount Sakesar is at above sea level. It was once the summer headquarters of the Deputy Commissioners of three districts – Campbellpur (now Attock), Mianwali and Shahpur (now Sargodha). Sakesar
Sakesar ( Punjabi, ur, ), is the highest mountain in the Salt Range in Punjab Pakistan. Its height is 1,522m. It lies on the outer fringes of the Soon Valley in Khushab District in the Punjab Province. Uchhali Lake is just below it. It is a good picnic spot and moderately tough walking point. History The mountain used to be the summer headquarters for the deputy commissioners of three districts - Campbellpur (now Attock), Mianwali and Sargodha. In view of Sakesar's ideal location and height, the PAF selected it in the late 1950s as the site for a high-powered radar which would provide air defence cover for the northeastern part of the western wing. Naushera, Punjab
Nowshera, (in Punjabi and ur, ), is a city and Tehsil (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is the main town (Heart) of Soon Valley. The town is situated from Khushab city, 62 kilometers from Talagang and from Kallar Kahar town in the heart of valley, surrounded by high hills, lakes, jungles, natural pools and ponds. It is also an area of ancient civilization, natural resources, and fertile farms. The general height of surrounding hills is around 2,500 feet above sea level, with several peaks reaching over 3,000 feet. People Awan are the major people inhabiting Naushera. H.A. Sargodha ( Punjabi and ur, ) is a city and capital of Sargodha Division, located in Punjab province, Pakistan. It is Pakistan's 12th largest city by population and one of the fastest-growing cities of the country. Sargodha is also known as the ''City of Eagles''.
