It is situated on a hillside above the right bank of the river Tyria. It is 4 km east of Agios Christoforos, 14 km northwest of Dodoni and 20 km west of Ioannina. Molossoi
Molossoi ( el, Μολοσσοί) is a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zitsa, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 241.281 km2. In 2011 its population was 1,646. The seat of the municipality is in Voutsaras. The Tyria ( el, Τύρια) is a river in the western part of the Ioannina regional unit in Epirus, Greece. It is a left tributary of the Thyamis. The source of the river Tyria is near the village Platania, on the western slope of the Tomaros mountain. It flows into a generally northwestern direction. It flows into the Thyamis, near Vrosina. Dodoni ( el, Δωδώνη) is a village and a municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the village Agia Kyriaki (community Theriakisi).
