Chingkankousaurus
''Chingkankousaurus'' (named for Ch'ing-kang-kou, ''sic'' for Wade–Giles ''Chin''1''-kang''1''-k'ou''3, pinyin ''Jin-gang-kou'' 'diamond port' village) is a genus of theropod dinosaur containing the single species ''Chingkankousaurus fragilis''. ''C. fragilis'' is known only from a single fossilized bone fragment (specimen number IVPP V636) from the late Cretaceous Period Wangshi Series of Shandong province in eastern China. Description ''Chingkankousaurus'' was identified by Yang Zhongjian (C.C. Young) in 1958 from a single "scapula", which he said "basically resembles that of ''Allosaurus'' but is smaller." It had been proposed that the scapula was a rib or gastralia fragment, but this was considered unlikely in a 2013 study. Molnar et al. (1990) thought the scapula may have belonged to a tyrannosaurid. Tarbosaurus
''Tarbosaurus'' ( ; meaning "alarming lizard") is a genus of tyrannosaurid dinosaur that flourished in Asia about 70 million years ago, at the end of the Late Cretaceous Period, considered to contain a single known species, ''Tarbosaurus bataar''. Fossils have been recovered from the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia, with more fragmentary remains found further afield in the Subashi Formation of China. Although many species have been named, modern paleontologists recognize only one, ''T. bataar'', as valid. Some experts see this species as an Asian representative of the North American genus ''Tyrannosaurus''; this would make the genus ''Tarbosaurus'' redundant. Coelurosauria (; from Greek, meaning "hollow tailed lizards") is the clade containing all theropod dinosaurs more closely related to birds than to carnosaurs. Gastralia
Gastralia (singular gastralium) are dermal bones found in the ventral body wall of modern crocodilians and tuatara, and many prehistoric tetrapods. They are found between the sternum and pelvis, and do not articulate with the vertebrae. In these reptiles, gastralia provide support for the abdomen and attachment sites for abdominal muscles.
