Chilu Lemba
Chilu Lemba (born 27 August 1975) is a Zambian-born and South African–based radio and television presenter, Voice acting, voice over artist, author and musician. His voice is heard across the continent daily on ads ranging from branding commercials for washing detergents and cellphone networks, to promos for satellite television channels. A graduate of the AAA School of Advertising, Lemba has over two decades experience in collaborating with media institutions, production companies and has been the voice of the Eyewitness News brand heard daily on Talk Radio 702 and Cape Talk, for the past ten years. He also voices thousands of communication ads annually for brands such as Nissan, BCX, SuperSport (South African broadcaster), SuperSport, Old Mutual, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR and more. SABC Africa
SABC Africa was the international television service of the South African Broadcasting Corporation, which ceased to broadcast on 1 August 2008 after poor performance on the DStv satellite television platform. The channel started on 16 November 1998 as part of an initial two-channel agreement by the SABC with Multichoice for the whole of Africa, being initially positioned as a news channel. SABC Africa was carried on both C-band and Ku-band systems while its sister channel, Best of Africa (later Africa2Africa) was only carried on Ku-band to southern Africa. The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations South Africa 2013 for sponsorship reasons, held from 19 January to 10 February 2013, was the 29th Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
