Chicago Power (AISA) Players
The Chicago Power were an indoor soccer club based in Chicago, Illinois that competed in the American Indoor Soccer Association and National Professional Soccer League. After the 1995–96 season, the team was sold to Peter Pocklington, moved and became the Edmonton Drillers. Home matches were played at St. Charles High School's Norris Stadium and at Hanson Stadium on the Northwest Side. In addition to several exhibition matches they participated in the 1992 Professional Cup alongside five APSL and two CSL clubs. Chicago also took part in another international series dubbed ''Copa Chicago '92'' which included Liga MX's Tecos F.C. and Tigres UANL and the APSL's Miami Freedom. FC Torpedo Minsk ( be, ПФК Тарпеда Мінск, ''PFK Tarpeda Minsk''; russian: link=no, ПФК Торпедо Минск) is a Belarusian football club, playing in Minsk. The team plays their home games at the Torpedo Stadium in Minsk, which holds 4,800 people. They currently play in Belarusian Second League. History During Soviet years, Torpedo was playing in the Belarusian SSR top league and won championships in 1947, 1962, 1966, 1967 and 1969. The team was playing in the Belarusian Premier League since 1992. Stevens Stadium is a 7,000-seat soccer stadium on the west coast of the United States, located on the campus of Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. The stadium is the current home of the Santa Clara Broncos soccer teams and was the former home of the now-defunct football team as well as the baseball team. San Francisco Bay Blackhawks were a professional soccer team which came into existence in 1989 as a team in the Western Soccer League (WSL). The Blackhawks spent time in the American Professional Soccer League (APSL) and the United States Interregional Soccer League (USISL). In 1993, the team competed in USISL as the San Jose Hawks, but left organized competition at the end of the season. Englewood High School is a public high school located in the city of Englewood, Colorado, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Englewood Schools District. Its enrollment is approximately 600 students in grades 9–12. There are about 65 licensed teachers, 40 of whom hold a master's degree or higher. The Colorado Foxes were a professional soccer team, based in Commerce City, Colorado, that played in the American Professional Soccer League, and later in the A-League, between 1990 and 1997. The Foxes won two APSL titles, in 1992 and 1993. In 1992 they won the regular season as well as the Professional Cup, giving them a minor treble. The Foxes defeated English Premier League side Norwich City F.C. 3–2 in a Four Nations Cup exhibition match on July 18, 1993, placing third in the tournament. They had previously lost to 1. Miami Freedom
The Miami Sharks were an inaugural franchise of the third incarnation of the American Soccer League in 1988. The team was renamed the Miami Freedom and joined the American Professional Soccer League in 1990 when the ASL merged with the Western Soccer League. The club played in the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. Julio Moreira, a native of Ecuador, was Team President and General Manager during 1990–1991. He was replaced as Team President by David A. Tecos Fútbol Club (often referred to by its nickname "Tecos") is a Mexican professional football club associated with the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara AC.
