Chibagalakh Range
The Chibagalakh Range ( rus, Чибагала̀хский хребет; sah, Чыбаҕалаах) is a mountain range in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Far Eastern Federal District, Russia. Despite the beauty of its landscapes the range is rarely visited owing to its remoteness. In 1977 a group of tourists from Kharkov visited the area and climbed Salishchev Peak. The Indigirka ( rus, Индиги́рка, r=; sah, Индигиир, translit=Indigiir) is a river in the Sakha Republic in Russia between the Yana (river), Yana to the west and the Kolyma River, Kolyma to the east. Drainage Basin
A drainage basin is an area of land where all flowing surface water converges to a single point, such as a river mouth, or flows into another body of water, such as a lake or ocean. A basin is separated from adjacent basins by a perimeter, the '' drainage divide'', made up of a succession of elevated features, such as ridges and hills. A basin may consist of smaller basins that merge at river confluences, forming a hierarchical pattern. ''Thymallus'' is a genus of freshwater fish in the salmon family Salmonidae; it is the only genus of subfamily Thymallinae. The type species is ''Thymallus thymallus,'' the grayling. Coregonus
''Coregonus'' is a diverse genus of fish in the salmon family (Salmonidae). The ''Coregonus'' species are known as whitefishes. The genus contains at least 68 described extant taxa, but the true number of species is a matter of debate. The type species of the genus is '' Coregonus lavaretus''. Chersky Range
The Chersky Range (, ) is a chain of mountains in northeastern Siberia between the Yana River and the Indigirka River. Administratively the area of the range belongs to the Sakha Republic, although a small section in the east is within Magadan Oblast. The highest peak in the range is tall Peak Pobeda (Chersky Range), Peak Pobeda, part of the Ulakhan-Chistay Range. The range also includes important places of traditional Yakut culture, such as Ynnakh Mountain ''(Mat'-Gora)'' and kigilyakh rock formations. The Moma Natural Park is a protected area located in the southern zone of the range. Lake Tabanda
Lake Tabanda (; sah, Табандьа, ''Tabanca'') is a freshwater lake in the Moma District, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia. It is one of the largest Alpine lakes of the Chersky Range system and is located in a desolate mountainous area where there are few visitors despite the beauty of the landscapes. Geography Lake Tabanda is a glacial lake that lies among high mountains at above mean sea level in the basin of the Chibagalakh River, part of the Indigirka basin.
