Chiara Raso (born 26 October 1981) is an Italian ski mountaineer. Raso was born in Aosta. She started ski mountaineering in 2000 and competed first in the ''Tour de Breuil'' race in the same year. She has been member of the national team since 2002. Aosta

Vertical Race
A Vertical Race is a special kind of ski mountaineering without the typical downhill skiing after ascending. At the mountain running and climbing passages the runners have to carry their skis in their backpacks. Vertical Races for women and men are part of all international ski mountaineering competitions of the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions (ISMC) as well as at many national competitions. Arianna Fernanda Follis (born 11 November 1977, in Ivrea, Piedmont) is an Italian cross-country skier who started competing in 1995. Competing in two Winter Olympics, she earned a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at Turin in 2006. Follis earned five medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold (Individual sprint: 2009), one silver (Individual sprint: 2011) and three bronzes (10 km: 2007, Team sprint: 2009, 4 × 5 km relay: 2005).
