Chiang Shih-lu (; born 16 December 1982) is a Taiwanese football player who currently plays for Taipower as a striker. He has often been called ''Fast Legs of Taipower'' (台電快腿) for his fast speed on the field. Enterprise Football League 2008
The 2008 season of the Enterprise Football League (also known as the Fubon Enterprise Football League) was held from January 5 to April 27, 2008. With 4 college teams also participating, the number of competing teams increased from 4 to 8. The 2007 league champion Taiwan Power Company F.C. successfully defended the title. At the end of 2008, the Chinese Taipei Football Association decided to merge the Enterprise Football League into the Intercity Football League. As a result, this was the last Enterprise Football League season. Teams The 2008 league season consisted of 8 teams, 4 of which were existing teams from the 2007 season: Taipower (台電), Tatung (大同), Chinese Taipei U-23 (as Fubon Financial, 富邦), and the National Sports Training Center football team (國訓). The Enterprise Football League (), formerly known as the National Football League () or the National First Division Football League (), was the highest-ranked football league in the Republic of China (Taiwan). It was governed by the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) and considered semi-professional. The competition was ended in 2009 following a change in regulations and a merger into the Intercity Football League. The 2005 EAFF East Asian Football Championship was a football competition between teams from East Asian countries and territories held from 31 July to 7 August 2005 in South Korea, with the qualifiers held in Taiwan in March 2005. Zhongshan Soccer Stadium
Zhongshan Soccer Stadium, Chungshan Soccer Stadium, or Taipei Soccer Stadium () was a multi-purpose stadium in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was established in 1923 as during the Japanese period. The soccer stadium was opened in 1989, it was reconstructed from the former site of Yuanshan Baseball Ground () under the guidance of then Chinese Taipei Football Association President Chiang Wei-kuo. Although it was built as a soccer-specific stadium, it was mostly used for live concerts or other activities due to lack of professional football league in Taiwan. The stadium was able to hold 20,000 people for football games and 40,000 for concerts. It was managed by the Hope Foundation led by former athlete Chi Cheng. Intercity Football League 2009
The 2009 Intercity Football League season is the third since its establishment in 2007. It started from February 14, 2009. At the end of 2008, the Chinese Taipei Football Association decided to merge the Enterprise Football League into the Intercity Football League, and therefore the latter became the highest-ranked football league in Taiwan. The league included two divisions. Division A consisted of six teams, and the remaining teams participated in Division B. The last-placed team in Division A would be relegated to Division B while the champion of Division B would move up to Division A. New league regulations required each team to be named after the administrative division in which they were located. Each team also needed two-thirds of its players to reside in the area for at least one month. The 2007 season of the Enterprise Football League, also known as Fubon Enterprise Football League, consisted of four teams who play each other team twice. It was co-sponsored by Fubon Financial Holding Co. and Taiwan Cement Corporation. Taiwan Power Company F.C. won the league title and would represent Chinese Taipei to compete in AFC President's Cup 2008. League format The league consisted of two rounds, with each team playing each other team once per round for a total of twelve games. The order in which teams played in the first round was chosen at random, while the order in the second round was determined by the position of the league on the league table. The first round was played in January 2007 and the second round was played in March 2007.
