Chhoya
Chhoya छोया is a village placed at approximately 55 km southwest of Dipayal, Doti, Nepal. The altitude of the village is 1294 m (4246 feet) above the mean sea level and geographic locators - 29°15′58″N and 80°46′52″E. The village is located in Jijodamandau VDC of Doti District of Nepal. This is 2 ward of the village development committee. The population of this village is about of 400 individuals residing in 50 individual households. The chhoya is divided into two Mallo and Tallo Chhoya. The village are resided by four casts - Rosyara, Paneru, Bhul, and Damai. The village has beautiful panoramic view of typical mountains and Saipal Himalayan range can be viewed. Also there is also a small beautiful river (Ghatai garh) and newly establishing community forest. A five grade primary school for kids and a temple dedicated to Radha Krishana are located there. Rosyara
Roshyara (Nepali: रोस्यारा) is a western Nepalese Brahmin surname. ''Rosyara'' is rare because it is derived from other common surnames, with only approximately 10000 people who bear it. The Gotra of Roshyara is Garga and Atri. Roshyara from Tallo Chhoya and other part of Doti and Navadurga Koteli, Dadeldhura are spelled as "Roshyara" (nepali रोश्यारा ). Rosyara ancestors were royal priests to the kings of Doti, a region in Nepal. Derivation Rosyara was derived from the word "Roshyo," meaning "Kitchen" in Doteli language. Rosyara served food at rituals and feasts. A cultural belief holds that higher castes must not take food from lower castes. Jijodamandau
Jijodamandau is a village development committee in Doti District in the Seti Zone of western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census The 1991 Nepal census was a widespread national census conducted by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics. Doti District ( ne, डोटी जिल्ला ), part of Sudurpashchim Province, is one of the 77 districts of Nepal. This district, with Silgadhi as its headquarters, covers an area of with a population of 207,066 in 2001 and increasing marginally to 211,746 in 2011. History Doti was a medieval kingdom of Kumaon. Doti ( ne, डोटी), also known as Doti region, Dotigarh (डोटीगढ़) as used in the Jagar (folk tales; जागर), in the Farwestern region of Nepal (Sudurpashchim Province), is a region situated between River Kali bordering Kumaon division of Uttarakhand in the west and the Karnali river on the east.
