Cheung Kam Ching
Professor "Leo" Cheung Kam Ching (張錦青, born 1963) is a philosopher in Hong Kong. He is a Professor of the Department of Philosophy, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since Jan 2011. He was a Professor of the Department of Religion and Philosophy, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) from 2008–2011, Assistant Professor (1995–2000), Associate Professor (2000–2008) and the Head of Department (2006–2007). During his secondary education, Cheung attended St Francis Xavier's School Tsuen Wan. And then he attended the Department of Mathematics, Chinese University of Hong Kong and he gained his PhD at University of Sussex in 1993. His research interest is Wittgenstein's Philosophy, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Science, Chinese Philosophy and Comparative Philosophy. The Chinese University Of Hong Kong
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Ma Liu Shui, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949. Kai-man Kwan
Kai-man Kwan (also spelt Kai Man Kwan; ) is a Chinese Christian philosopher at Hong Kong Baptist University. He is the current Director of the Centre for Sino-Christian Studies. Education and Career After graduating as an electrical engineer from the University of Hong Kong in 1983, Kai-man worked as a Science and Maths teacher first at Matteo Ricci College, and then at Carmel Alison Lam Foundation Secondary School. He completed his M.Phil. in 1991 and Ph.D. in 1993 from Oxford University under the supervision of Richard Swinburne. The next year he joined Hong Kong Baptist University as a part-time Lecturer. He served as the Head of the Department of Religion and Philosophy from 2013 to 2018. He was one of the founding members of the Centre for Sino-Christian Studies under the faculty of Arts and Humanities in 2001, where he served as Research Project Coordinator from 2001-2004 and as Associate Director from 2004–2006. Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is a publicly funded tertiary liberal arts education, liberal arts institution with a Christian ethics, Christian education heritage. Harris Manchester College is one of the Colleges of the University of Oxford, constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
