Chetan Karki
Chetan Karki (7 November 1938 – 16 May 2021) was a Nepali songwriter and film director. According to Prakash Sayami, Karki was the first screenwriter of Nepali cinema, having written his first screenplay for ''Pariwartan''. He went on to write stories for more than a hundred Nepali films. He directed ''Bishwas'', ''Pahilo Prem'' and ''Bhumari''. He wrote songs for the films ''Maya Priti'', ''Kanchi'' and ''Kanyadan'', among others. ''Teejako Rahara Aayo Barilai'' is considered his most popular song. As a writer, Karki published a poem, a collection of songs, a story and a novel. He also published poetry collections in Hindi and Urdu languages. Syangja District
Syangja District ( ne, स्याङ्जा जिल्ला; ), a part of Gandaki Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Syangja bazaar (a small town) as its district headquarters, covers an area of and had a population of 289,148 It lies in the hilly region at an altitude ranging from about 300 meters along the banks of Kaligandaki river up to a couple of thousands meters above the sea level. Prakash Sayami
Prakash Sayami (Nepali: प्रकाश सायमी )is a Nepali film director, writer and producer. He is an independent film maker and he has directed six feature-length movies. He is currently working in Ujyaalo Radio Network programme Ajar Amar Geetharu. From 1986, he worked as an assistant director and scriptwriter on many commercial Nepali films. He made his directorial debut in 1993. In 2008, Prakash Sayami was elected as vice-president of the Music Royalty society of Nepal which aims to protect musician's copyrights nationally and internationally. Sayami studied film making in Bombay.
