Chelonis R. Jones
Chelonis R. Jones is an American painter, electropop musician, producer, poet, singer, and songwriter. Biography Born and raised in California and New York, Jones lives in Europe. He has released several albums, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other musicians. Some of his releases include ''Dislocated Genius'' (2002), ''The Forgotten Floor'' (2008, together with Alex Dandi as 4Gottenfloor), ''Chatterton'' (2009), and ''The Prison Buffet'' (2013). His earliest single releases included cover artwork edited from original oil canvases painted in the late 1990s by the artist. Jones is perhaps best known as the vocalist and co-writer of the popular Röyksopp single "49 Percent", which appeared on the duo's album '' The Understanding''. Apart from his focus on music, Jones also exhibits his artworks at various galleries, mostly in Europe. Electropop is a hybrid music genre combining elements of electronic and pop genres. Writer Hollin Jones has described it as a variant of synth-pop with heavy emphasis on its electronic sound. ''The Understanding'' debuted at number 13 on the UK Albums Chart, with 22,466 copies sold in its first week. Full Intention is an English house music duo consisting of Michael Gray and Jon Pearn. They are best known as prolific producers and remixers. They have reworked songs for varied artists such as the Sugababes, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Frankie Knuckles, among others. Biography As the group Hustlers Convention, Jon Pearn and Michael Gray produced their own house tracks and remixed many others, including "Street life" by C. J. Kris Menace (born Christoph Hoeffel) is a German electronic musician and music producer. History Christophe Hoeffel began to work as a producer and writer in the mid-1990s for different projects and started using the pseudonym "Kris Menace" in 2005. Menace's debut single "Discopolis" (in collaboration with his friend Lifelike) was released on Alan Braxe's label Vulture Music in 2005. "Discopolis" was later picked up by Defected Records and re-released with various remixes (such as that of Kerri Chandler) and a video directed by Seb Janiak. Roman Böer (born 9 June 1974), better known as DJ Tocadisco, formerly Tocadisco (; Spanish for "turntable"), is a German DJ and record producer. Biography Born in Berlin, but grew up as the son of the photographer and media designer Gerry Böer in Mönchengladbach, where he also regularly hangs at the club "Die Nacht" ("the night"). ''Röyksopp's Night Out'' is an extended play (EP) by Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp. It contains live recordings from the duo's concert at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo, Norway, in November 2005. Background The EP was released domestically on 27 January 2006. Röyksopp has stated that the EP was originally meant for the Japanese fans, the most enthusiastic Röyksopp fans, according to the band members. All of the vocalists who contributed on Röyksopp's second studio album, '' The Understanding'' (2005), except Karin Dreijer (who was replaced by Norwegian singer Anneli Drecker) were present at the concert.
