Femforce
''Femforce'' is a comic book published by AC Comics that began publication in 1985, detailing the adventures of the titular team: the "Federal Emergency Missions Force" or "Femforce", some of them original creations, while others originated in the 1940s and 1950s, lapsing into the public domain by the time ''Femforce'' was published. The team are, as their name implies, all superheroines, and are the first and the longest running all-women 'super-team'. The series has passed 200 issues, a significant milestone for an independent comic book company. Writers on the book have included Bill Black (comics), Bill Black, Stephanie Sanderson, Mark Heike, Paul Monsky, Enrico Teodorani and Francesca Paolucci. Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes)
Jaime Reyes is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hamner, the character made his first appearance in '' Infinite Crisis'' #3 (February 2006). Jaime Reyes is the third character to assume the mantle of Blue Beetle, but is substantially different from his predecessors. Introduced in 1939, the original Blue Beetle, Dan Garret, was a Fox Comics police officer who fought crime with superpowers gained by ingesting Vitamin 2X. A revamped version of this character, archaeologist Dan Garrett, introduced in 1964 by Charlton Comics drew mystical abilities from an ancient Egyptian scarab. Published by Charlton Comics and later DC, 1966 creation Ted Kord was Garrett's student who continued his legacy of costumed crime-fighting, although he had no superpowers. Fire (Beatriz Bonilla Da Costa) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. First created as Green Fury, Beatriz Da Costa is the first Latin American female superhero in mainstream American comics. She is the fourth Latin American superhero, after El Gaucho (DC), White Tiger (Marvel), and Bushmaster (DC). Michelle Hurd played Fire in the 1997 pilot film ''Justice League of America''. Extraño
Extraño is a superhero magician appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Joe Staton, he first appeared in ''Millennium'' #2 (January 1988). Extraño is noted for being the first openly gay superhero in DC Comics. Originally a minor supporting character affiliated with the Green Lantern mythos, the character in recent stories is instead cast as a powerful sorcerer in the DC Universe, serving as the magical ally of Midnighter who is both leader and founder of Justice League Queer, a loose network for LGBTQ superheroes who can call on each other for superheroic and personal support. Empress (character)
Empress (Anita Fite) is a fictional character, a superheroine in the DC Comics universe. She first appeared in '' Young Justice'' #16 (January 2000), and was created by Peter David and Todd Nauck. Fictional character biography Anita Fite is the daughter of Donald Fite, a member of the All Purpose Enforcement Squad and an early enemy of Young Justice. Eclipso
Eclipso () is a supervillain in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Bob Haney and Lee Elias, the character first appeared in '' House of Secrets'' #61 (August 1963). The character bears notable similarities to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eclipso is a powerful magical entity often portrayed as a primordial manifestation of divine wrath, believed to be linked to the wrath of God. El Dorado is a Mexican superhero featured in various incarnations of the ''Super Friends'' animated television series voiced by Mexican actor Fernando Escandon. A variation of El Dorado appears in the animated series ''Young Justice'', voiced by Freddy Rodriguez. Fictional character biography El Dorado was created solely for the Hanna-Barbera's ''Super Friends'' cartoons, although his appearances were relatively rare except in the last two short-lived series of the superhero saga, and did not appear officially in the main DC Universe until 2017. ''Thriller'' was a short-lived comic book series published by DC Comics beginning in November 1983. The series was originally written by Robert Loren Fleming and drawn by Trevor Von Eeden. It was sold only through the direct market. The taglines for the series were, "She has 7 seconds to save the world" and "You can't read it fast enough". The "she" in question was protagonist Angie Thriller. The "7 seconds" referred to a team of operatives who assisted her in various conflicts. Fleming stated “Thriller was originally conceived as a cross between The Shadow, Doc Savage, and The X-Men.” Publication history ''Thriller'' ran for 12 issues (November 1983 – November 1984). The Whip is the alias used by different characters in DC Comics with four of them being superheroes. The third one made his first appearance in ''Flash Comics'' #1. The fourth Whip appeared in 2005 and was created by Grant Morrison. The fifth Whip appeared in 2011 and was created by Fabian Nicieza.
