Chavviram Singh Yadav
Chhavviram Singh Yadav was a dacoit from Uttar Pradesh. One of his most trusted fellows was Udaiveer Singh from the village Nasirpur, Ghiror, UP. Early life Chhavviram Singh was a resident of Auchha village in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. At the age of twenty, he became a dacoit. Gradually his terror increased. He had spread panic in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan by dacoity and murder. People trembled with fear of him. Even the police did not dare to confront him. Around 1978, Chhaviram had become another name for the terrorist. His gang was accused of killing an MLA and burying the dead body in the ground. He projected himself as the messiah of the Yadava people. VP Singh became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in June 1980. At that time, dacoits were dominant in Uttar Pradesh. Mainpuri District
Mainpuri district is one of the districts in the Agra division of Uttar Pradesh, India. Mainpuri town is the district headquarters. It consists of six tehsils, namely Mainpuri, Bhongaon, Karhal, Kishni, Kurawali and Ghiror. Mainpuri forms part of the ancient legendary region of Lord Krishna's land called Braj. Vishwanath Pratap Singh (25 June 1931 – 27 November 2008), shortened to V. P. Singh, was an Indian politician who was the 7th Prime Minister of India from 1989 to 1990 and the 41st Raja Bahadur of Manda. He is India's only prime minister to have been former royalty. Phulan Devi
Phoolan Devi (1963–2001), popularly known as the Bandit Queen, was an Mallah woman who grew up in poverty in a village in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Her family was in a land dispute which caused many problems in her youth and after being repeatedly sexually abused and married off at the age of 11, she joined a dacoit group, later becoming a bandit leader. Her gang robbed higher caste villages and held up trains and vehicles. She became a hero of the lower castes for being a Robin Hood figure who punished her rapists and evaded capture by the authorities for several years. She surrendered in 1983 in a carefully negotiated settlement and served 11 years in Gwalior prison. The Yadava (literally, descended from Yadu) were an ancient Indian people who believed to be descended from Yadu, a legendary king of Chandravamsha lineage.
