''Chat-Shire'' (stylized as ''CHAT-SHIRE'') is the fourth Korean-language extended play by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. The self-composed EP was released digitally on October 23, 2015, and physically four days later by LOEN Entertainment under its imprint LOEN Tree. It was her first original material release since '' Modern Times'' (2013). ''Chat-Shire'' contains seven tracks in total including the lead single " Twenty-Three". It also features two CD-only bonus tracks ("Heart" and "Twenty Three") from KBS's television series '' The Producers'', in which IU starred as Cindy. Composition According to Scott Interrante of ''PopMatters'', ''Chat-Shire'' uses lush orchestrations and complex arrangements that recreates a 90's chamber pop sound similar to The Cardigans. The song "Red Queen" was inspired by a drawing created by Sulli. IU (singer)
Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) ''Lost and Found'' (2008). Although her follow-up albums, '' Growing Up'' and '' IU...IM'', brought mainstream success, it was only after the release of " Good Day" ( ko, 좋은 날), the lead single from her 2010 album ''Real'', that she achieved national stardom. ''Palette'' () is the fourth studio album by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It was released on April 21, 2017, by LOEN Entertainment under its imprint FAVE Entertainment. ''Palette'' is IU's first album since ''Chat-Shire'' (2015), and her first full-length release since '' Modern Times'' (2013). The album was successful both commercially and critically. It spawned three singles; " Through the Night" was released as the album's lead single on March 24, followed by " Can't Love You Anymore" on April 7, and the title track, " Palette", released on April 21. All three singles of the album hit number one on South Korean Gaon Chart. ''Billboard'' magazine listed the album at number one on its list of "Best K-Pop Albums of 2017". The album earned IU a Melon Music Award for Album of the Year, and a nomination for Artist of the Year and won Record of the Year (Album) in the 27th Seoul Music Awards. "Twenty-Three" () is a song recorded by South Korean singer-songwriter IU for the fifth extended play ''Chat-Shire''. IU herself penned the lyrics of the song and co-composed it with its producers Lee Jong-hoon and Lee Chae-kyu. The song was released on October 23, 2015, in conjunction with the release of the album as the album's lead single. A dance track, the lyrics document IU's inner thoughts as she walks into her twenties. "Twenty-Three" received positive reviews from music critics. It was a commercial success topping the Gaon Digital Chart upon release and has since sold over 2.5 million downloads in South Korea. An accompanying music video was released simultaneously with the single release on YouTube. Choi Jin-ri (March 29, 1994 – October 13 or 14, 2019), better known by her stage name Sulli (), was a South Korean actress and singer. She first made her debut as a child actress, appearing as a supporting cast member on the SBS historical drama ''Ballad of Seodong'' (2005). Following this, she earned a number of guest roles, appearing in the television series ''Love Needs a Miracle'' (2005) and ''Drama City'' (2007), and the film ''Vacation'' (2006). ''A Flower Bookmark'' () is the first cover extended play by South Korean singer-songwriter IU. It is also her fourth Korean-language extended play. The EP was released on May 16, 2014, the singer's birthday, by LOEN Entertainment under its imprint LOEN Tree. Unlike her previous works, ''A Flower Bookmark'' features cover versions of nostalgic K-pop songs popularized from 1980s to 1990s. The EP was successful both commercially and critically. It spawned two hit singles; the lead single "My Old Story" and "The Meaning of You". The former topped ''Billboard'' Korea K-Pop Hot 100, while the latter was ranked at the top of Gallup Korea's Song of the Year in 2014. The Cardigans
The Cardigans is a Swedish rock band formed in Jönköping, Sweden, in 1992 by guitarist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson and lead singer Nina Persson. Post-hiatus shows since 2012 have been with Oskar Humlebo on guitar instead of Svensson. The ''Kyobo Book Centre'' (, also known as ''Kyobo Mungo'') is the largest bookstore chain in South Korea. It has ten stores in seven cities, with the flagship Main Store, or Gwanghwamun-jeom in Seoul, which is located in the basement of the Kyobo Building, at 1 Jong-ro, Jongno-gu in Seoul's central business district. ''My Sweet Orange Tree'' ( pt, Meu Pé de Laranja Lima) is a novel by José Mauro de Vasconcelos. The book was first published in 1968 and was used for literature classes for elementary schools in Brazil. It has also been translated and published in the US and Europe. The novel is part of a tetralogy written by Vasconcelos and centered on different stages in the life of the protagonist, Zeze, and, by extension, Vasconcelos. The four books were published in a disorganized order, following an aleatory chronology instead of a direct one.
